To live is to give—in tithes, offerings, and all life’s resources. We steward what we have been given of time, gifts and finances, seeing these as being from God’s hand, yet as ours to obediently distribute. Covenantal giving is product of gratitude and obedience, NEVER by obligation nor manipulation.
Why We Give
Giving as an Act of Worship
We give not out of obligation, but out of gratitude for what God has done for us in Christ. The Bible calls us to give generously, cheerfully, and sacrificially — trusting that God is the owner of all things and we are stewards of what He has entrusted to us.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
